Theresa Pierno is president and CEO of the National Parks Conservation Association. She joined NPCA in 2004 after a distinguished career in public service and natural resource protection, and has helped to solidify the organization’s role as the voice of America’s national parks. To close Chautauqua’s week on that theme, Pierno will discuss the work of NPCA — how it protects and preserves our nation’s most iconic and inspirational places for present and future generations, and how it celebrates, defends, and creates opportunities to experience them.
