Rosemarie Zagarri is a historian and author whose work explores Early American politics, women’s history and the Constitution.

Rosemarie Zagarri is Distinguished University Professor and professor of history at George Mason University, specializing in Early American political and women’s history. She is the author of several books, including The Politics of Size, A Woman’s Dilemma and Revolutionary Backlash, and has contributed to Supreme Court amicus briefs, major historical projects and the Brennan Center’s Historians Council on the Constitution.
