This course is perfect for those who want to learn the beginning skills of colored pencils as an art medium. The first class, "Basics," provides information about colored pencils that are important to know before you get started using this tool. The instructor will explain which colored pencils she uses and why, as well as recommendations on paper and tools. You will learn how to choose and mix pencils to create lifelike colors. The second class, "Practice," contains demonstrations on how to apply colored pencils including shading, layering and blending techniques.
