The best chocolate in the world is simply the one that you enjoy the most. Join us on a journey to broaden your palate as we introduce you to the flavors of fine chocolate from around the world. Our class will explore the history, cultivation and techniques used in chocolate production. We will taste over 18 chocolate samples, discuss ethical sourcing, interpret packaging labels, and explore the health benefits of chocolate. Join us as we uncover the sweetest secrets of chocolate around the world.

B.S., art education, Frostburg State Univ.; M.E., Goucher College. 25 years’ experience teaching art. Traveled to England, Scotland, Ireland and Italy and visited nearly every chocolate shop available. Studied chocolate tasting with Special Studies instructor Karen Koch. Provided chocolate tasting opportunities for church women, military wives, tea parties and at Chautauqua Institution. Chautauquan of 33 years.
