Born in Jamaica and now based in Buffalo, New York, Chef Darian brings global perspective and unapologetic energy to everything he serves. He has been featured in numerous national and international media outlets, including the Food Network and Winner of Supermarket SteakoutCBS NewsESPNThe Jamaican ObserverThe Gleaner, and TVJ, sharing his food and story with audiences around the world. His culinary work spans elegant fine dining popups, private chef experiences, meal preparation for professional athletes, and largescale events that regularly draw long lines and loyal fans.  

Chef Darian is widely known for his Jamaican inspired concepts, including his crowd favorite Jerk Hut, where bold Caribbean flavors meet elevated presentation. His philosophy centers on the belief that chefs are rock stars and that food should make people happy—principles that drive his commitment to representing his heritage with pride while pushing creative boundaries. His work seamlessly blends fine dining with Caribbean flavor, and more recently, he has expanded his focus to demonstrate how accessible and delicious cooking can be.  

A seasoned competitor under pressure, Chef Darian has appeared on Food Network’s Chopped, experience that underscores his confidence, adaptability, and skill in high stakes kitchen environments, and is currently competing on Season 5 of Next Level Chef airing on FOX and next day Hulu. Beyond the plate, he is also an entrepreneur, operating The Plating Society, a private culinary boutique offering dining experiences, popups, catering, and creative space for chefs and brands alike.
