Description
Instructor
What happens when your story refuses to fit one category? This generative workshop explores how to thoughtfully combine elements from different genres while maintaining coherent voice, authentic worldbuilding, and clear stakes. Through the use of craft discussion, generative exercises, and analysis of two sample stories, we'll examine techniques for making unexpected genre combinations feel inevitable. Students will write new work and develop plans for genre blending projects.
