The Grape Discovery Center (GDC), in cooperation with Lake Erie Wine Country, presents Wine on Wednesdays. Famous for its fresh Concord Grape juice, the region is now home to over twenty wineries, producing many award-winning wines, including dry, sweet, and fortified wines, as well as a regional specialty, Ice Wine. Come to taste and enjoy samples of locally produced, Best-in-Show wines, such as Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Chardonnay, among others. Weekly wineries hosting the Wine on Wednesday sessions are: June 25 – 21 Brix, July 6 – 6 Mile Cellars, July 9 – Liberty, July 16 – Johnson Estate, July 23 – Burch Farms, August 6 – Kingview Meadery, August 20 – Cellar 54.
